Wildfire Smoke & Air Quality for Outdoor Recreation

When there are wildfires in our area, some days the smoke smells very strong and you can't even see the Tetons.  At what point does the smoke become a health risk so that we should avoid outdoor activities?  We take the health of our athletes and coaches seriously, and monitor the Air Quality Report on smokey days.  Sometimes when it smells very smokey outside, and looks hazy, surprisingly the monitoring lists the AQI (Air Quality Index) as "Good". Hotel Links for Fall Utah Travel Weekend Posted

We have secured Hotel Blocks through our travel partner, Aspen Travel. These blocks are for the 2018 fall travel weekends to Utah for the IMLAX Fall League. There are a limited number of rooms in the blocks, and they are first come first serve. Please book at your earliest convenience. If the blocks are full, then we suggest you secure accommodations on your own.

Why Aren't Lacrosse Sticks Allowed on the Bus?

The school buses do not allow players to bring their lacrosse sticks on the bus from school to practice.  There is no doubt it is a headache for lacrosse parents, as it adds an entire extra logistical component for them.  This is an issue the JHLC Staff and Board are aware of, and have worked over the years to come to a solution.  We will continue to work to make this situation better for our families.  However, as far as actually allowing sticks on the bus, it appears we are at an impasse with the School
